About Us & Contact

Many of you know that in the summer of 2007 I closed the facility of Prism Chameleons due to two of my family members being diagnosed with cancer.
I wish to thank all of my friends and customers who have given their prayers and support during these past months, especially for
Goldie Stadler, my grandmother, who was fighting pancreatic cancer.
On May 21, 2008 Goldie passed away taking with her all of the kind words and prayers given to her by you.
I know all of your support, thoughts, and prayers during this time has made her stronger
for her journey beyond.
Her love of life, humor, wit, and generous personality will be missed very deeply by all who knew and loved her.

Thank you for your extreme kindness,
Jenna Tynan - Owner of Prism Chameleons

Tsiroanomandidy:

A boy killed a chameleon, then he changed into the animal.   The young boy didn't succeed in killing the animal, as it's tail turned around on him. His skin sloughed and he changed into a chameleon after having struck the animal. The inhabitants of Tsiroanomandidy have been surprised by this fact.   A thing that never seen before in the chief city of Bongolova occurred and surprised the inhabitants of Tsiroanomandidy. A young boy, studying in a public primary school Ankadinakanga, district of Tsiroanomandidy, Region of Bongolava, killed a chameleon with a half of brick.

According to the explanations, the young boy didn't succeed to kill the animal by the stone. This act happened Monday, November 25th, 2007 in the school area, around 9 hours during the recreation in the morning. There is a culture zone in the course of the school. There is a maize field and also an eucalyptus plantation in the school area. The chameleon went for a walk in the trees of eucalyptus. The young boy saw the animal, then he had taken and killed it with a half of brick. But the animal has not been killed immediately. And the young boy went to enter in the classroom when the recreation ended. He didn't feel anything again at this moment during this half of journey in the classroom. But in the afternoon, the school restarted at 2 o'clock and he didn't come back anymore to the school because he got sick.

The same day, at 4 o'clock, it’s reported that his body skin changed. His head changed into a chameleon. His eyes became like those of chameleon. And a tail occurred on the young boy.

When the victim's parents saw that, they immediately took the boy to the hospital to make them heal him. One holds to notice that when his body changed into an animal, it even undressed him. At 6 o'clock in the evening the same day, the young boy died and the chameleon died also at the same time with him according to the received report.

After, the victim's parents carried complaint to the person responsible of security. According to our knowledge, the teacher didn't notice the existence of this chameleon in the course of the school period. Parents probably carried due complaint of this bad surveillance.

The teacher is currently in police custody in the courthouse of Miarinarivo; this investigation has been attended by the journalists working in the Bongolava region. It is returned that this case that has trembled the inhabitants of the city of Bongolava was due to the murder of chameleons, said ‘tarondro’ in Malagasy. The investigations on this affair are open.

Same case

If we well remember, there was also a same like case in the region of Bongolava in the capital, few months ago. One wants to come to a conclusion that is simple: if the children or adult see an animal as the one here, they should not kill it. Do not to touch it especially. Because they have a big importance, for not...
