About The Owner of Prism Chameleons and Their Facilities

Prism Chameleons and Exotics, LLC is owned and operated by Jenna Tynan in Maryland, USA. Panther chameleons became her passion and love since holding her first purchase and with her background in sociology, she has decided to pursue her education in the field of herpetology. Her dedication, attention, and constant care provides happy and healthy chameleons, as it has become her primary job for which she dedicates her time 7 days a week to ensure their care. Chameleons and other reptiles are not a business to Jenna, but rather a passion to spend her time and life continuing to work, learn, and enhance her knowledge in order to share with others these beautiful creatures.
With the deepest respect for nature and panther chameleons, Prism Chameleons and Exotics will protect them with their natural locales, so as to keep them as nature intended. Conservation, providing knowledge to the pet owners of panther chameleons, and caring for their environments is of utmost importance to Prism Chameleons and Exotics. To the best of our knowledge, we at Prism Chameleons and Exotics will provide all information as attainable to our customers about the history and newest scientific discoveries of panther chameleons from Madagascar in order to better enhance the care and health of these wonderful creatures. In addition to panther chameleons, she is also working with other chameleons, geckos, and reptiles to increase her knowledge and husbandry techniques of various species.
After working extensively with chameleons, Jenna has branched out her increased curiosity of other species of reptiles as well. She has obtained many other species of reptiles and has them as pets to extensively research to gain experience and knowledge. She has found that her love has extended to all reptilians with pure fascination of their differing characteristics, husbandry, and history.
OUR FACILITIES
Our facilities are built for optimum conditions for our chameleons. All of our adult breeders, males and females alike, are kept in large cages (females in 30" x 30"x 18" or 36" x 24" x 24"; Males in 48" x 24" x 24" with some in 72" x 30" x 24"). We believe that a habitat for large chameleons should be housed in conditions that make them feel most comfortable. Our smaller caging systems are for our breeder's offspring, young panther chameleons, and smaller species of chameleons for which we have on-going breeding projects.
Our flooring was specially built at a slight slant with drainage at the low end of the facility which provides us with being able to have daily hygiene of cleanliness to prevent bacteria, parasite contaminations, and mold issues which can occur in high humidity facilities. This has made it easy for us to spray hose our flooring daily with antiseptics and our caging systems. We have provided our chameleons with a temperature controlled and sunny open facility by installing windows all around the side of our facility to make it bright and airy. Fans have been installed for circulation of the air dependent upon the seasons (spreads heat in the winter and provides a cool breeze as needed in the heat of the summer). Additionally, we have provided our own generator to ensure that our facility has electricity at all times.
No cutting corners at Prism Chameleons and Exotics. Sure, we could save space by caging our breeders in small caging systems rather than taking room with the larger cages. But, the happiness and ultimate conditions for our chameleons are our utmost concern; therefore, we provide them with the best caging systems, lighting, hygiene, and temperature controlled air systems with circulation and daily spray hosing for constant cleanliness.

Terms & Conditions
Prism Chameleons and Exotics offers a 10 day health guarantee on all their sales of reptiles to our customers. We stand by our reptile sales and customer satisfaction is of our utmost importance. We ship all of our reptiles by UPS overnight for 10:30am next day deliveries Monday through Wednesday (if available in your area) in insulated boxes with heat packs or cold packs should temperatures warrant it. Should there be questions regarding the health of your purchased reptile from Prism Chameleons and Exotics, you must contact us immediately to discuss any problems. Resolutions of problems will be considered on a case to case basis dependent upon the issues of the purchase in question. Not only do we pride ourselves in taking excellent care of our reptiles, but we also pride ourselves in our excellent customer service.
